The clients in this property wanted a freshen up with a like for like finish with a few modern twists. We changed the gloss for satinwood on all the woodwork and we also striped the old varnished handrails and shelving back to bare wood, we then applied a Matte wood protection finish to give the place a modern feel. The customer also wanted to keep the wallpaper so we repaired it the best we could in places and applied Johnstone’s stain away on the places where needed to stop the stains penetrating through in the future. Even though we used the same colours, the final finish gives this property a new fresh look for the coming years. BEFORE
